Experience & Expertise
Stephen A. Singh (FCIArb) has over 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He has appeared before most Caribbean courts, including the CCJ and OECS Court of Appeal in various banking, insolvency and construction matters, and before specialist tribunals on regulatory disputes. He regularly provides advice in diverse areas such as oil and gas sales contracts, and downstream tax matters. Stephen has also appeared in high-profile arbitration cases and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

- Methanol Holding (Trinidad) Limited v. The Board of Inland Revenue – (2021) corporation tax proceedings challenging withholding tax assessments raised by the Board on exempt and non-exempt income and the distribution of dividends to shareholders. Successfully represented client before the Tax Appeal Board in having withholding tax assessment reversed.
